I must say that it was probably the best decision of my life to not start my studies at the University of Helsinki last year, but instead study Spanish at Itä-Hämeen Opisto in Hartola. We had a very small group (5 in Hartola, 4 in Málaga) but I think it was better that way. We got along very well and in Málaga it was easier to arrange excursions and other things than it would have been if there had been more of us. Our teacher was one of the best teachers I've ever had, and we all learned a lot. And not just Spanish but also things about the culture, history and the country. I also think there are things we wouldn't have learned and experienced if we had had a Finnish teacher (our teacher was Spanish). But yes, I think they were the best two months of my life so far and finally I know what I want to do with my life, and that's study Spanish. But as you might know, next year I'm going to study Swedish, but I'm trying to learn also Spanish by listening to music and reading books.
